Structural repair clicks are among the most expensive in all of home services. That is not a reason to avoid the channel. It is a reason to be precise about what you are buying.
Cost per click is the wrong number
Contractors fixate on click price because it is the number the platform shows them first. It is close to meaningless on its own. What matters is what share of those clicks turn into a booked inspection, and what share of inspections turn into signed work.
A twelve dollar click that books one inspection in eight is dramatically cheaper than a four dollar click that books one in sixty.
Where the money actually leaks
In every foundation account we have audited, the same three leaks show up. Traffic from people researching how to patch a hairline crack themselves. Traffic from renters who cannot authorise work. And traffic from outside the service radius that the geographic settings quietly allowed in.
None of those are fixed by lowering bids. They are fixed by a negative keyword structure that has already seen them.
What to measure instead
Track cost per booked inspection, and cost per signed contract. Those two numbers tell you whether the channel works. Everything else is diagnostic detail.
